Johannes Leak in today’s Australian, 9 Sept. 2020
The article below is pretty much what I think about the Marxist campaign in the US. Indeed, it is pretty much what is going on in Australia, and has been going on for some years. Read this article carefully. There are other articles saying the same under my tab BLM, but this article says it all. I wonder whether it’s not too late for people to wake up and recognize the uncompromising agenda of the Marxists. Do something.
The Attempt to Overthrow America
by Guy Millière
The situation had become “worrying,” in fact, even before the results of the 2016 presidential election were known. As we now can read in the Department of Justice report by Michael Horowitz, the senior levels of government during the Obama Administration were colluding to prevent President Trump from winning the election, and then, after it, to frame him in an attempted coup d’état.
Mayors of many cities and other local officials have deliberately protected criminals over law-abiding citizens and allowed the destruction to take place.
“I thought things were partisan and tough 30 years ago — nothing compared to today. Things have fundamentally changed… [the left] represents a revolutionary Rousseauian party that believes in tearing down the system… They’re interested in complete political victory. They’re not interested in compromise. They’re not interested in dialectic, exchange of views… It’s a substitute religion. They view their political opponents… as evil because we stand in the way of their progressive utopia that they’re trying to reach…” — US Attorney General William Barr, Fox News, August 9, 2020.
“Today our nation is facing the most serious threat to establish such a tyranny in our entire history.” — David Horowitz, Frontpage Mag, August 10, 2020.
Bruce Pascoe’s claims about Indigenous society and history rejected by historian Geoffrey Blainey.
The second option to deal with COVID-19
There were always going to be casualties from the Coronavirus pandemic. One way or another people would die. No one and no strategy would prevent deaths. So the question was how best to protect our society. The task was to formulate a plan to ensure the fewest deaths and the least damage to society and, in particular, to the economy.
There were basically two options. The first was to shut down society, and thus great chunks of the economy, to prevent infections. If no one became infected, nobody would die. One must keep one’s fingers crossed about the economy.
The state of Victoria, as of mid-August, is one gigantic prison, overseen by a police force of unswerving loyalty to the dictates of Premier Daniel Andrews.
The second was to keep the economy running and focus on the most vulnerable groups. That would reduce the damage to the economy on which everyone is dependent for their well-being and welfare.
Most countries, including Australia, chose the first.
There is a host of people, including highly qualified epidemiologists, holding grave doubts about the efficacy of this first option. The cure is likely to be far more devastating than the disease.
The defence of the first option is all over the leftist media. It was no surprise to see Australia’s billion-dollar-funded ABC swing in behind their dear leader.
But a defence of the second option is hardly to be heard in the mainstream media. The reason is the usual. The left shut down any dialogue that does not fit the view they have prescribed.
I propose, therefore, to do my (small) part for the second option to which I am inclined to give support. I will propagate as best I can links to comments and videos supporting the second option which I find compelling. The first is an excellent piece by Augusto Zimmerman in Quadrant.
Australia, How Have You Let it Come to This?
By Augusto Zimmermann
On August 2, Victorians began living under a “state of disaster” that has seen some of the world’s most severe restrictions imposed on its citizens and their fundamental freedoms. Leaving home after 8pm is banned with hefty fines imposed on those pulled over by police, who now represent the only cars on the road after dark. There are roadblocks to prevent citizens from moving interstate or, much closer to home, more than the permitted 5km from their their listed addresses.
The Victorian government has effectively become an elected dictatorship. It is August 9 as I write and the latest 19 COVID deaths have brought the state’s death toll to 247. These 19 deaths were of one man and a woman in their 50s, two men in their 70s, one man and six women in their 80s, and one man and seven women in their 90s. (editor’s note: today, August 12, the daily death toll is 21, the overwhelming majority in aged-care homes.)
Approximately 99 per cent of all infections for coronavirus have been mild. Of the 515 people in hospitals across Australia with coronavirus, 496 are in Victoria. Most of those who have died were in their 80s and living in aged-care facilities.
Unfortunately, none of these relevant considerations has prevented the Victorian government imposing what is by far the greatest violation of fundamental rights in Australia’s history. Victorians have now been forced into stage 4 lockdown; almost 5 million people have been informed that the police can and will enter their homes for any reason and without a warrant. Police can also stop anyone anywhere at any time and demand to see their papers and determine if they have a valid reason to be away of their homes.
BETRAYAL AND GUTLESSNESS
What a bunch of appalling cowards the corporate world has become. News has just broken that gutless Canadian company SAPUTO has caved into a small bunch of far-left activists in Australia who claim ‘COON’ as in Coon Cheese had ‘racist connotations’.
The leader of the small poisonous group is cited in media reports as Stephen Hagan, ‘Hagan’ having European/Germanic derivations, No connotation here, but a direct root in Europan/Germanic culture.
In some media reports Hagan is described as ‘academic’, in others as an ‘Aboriginal activist’. Hagan is likely an Australian of Aboriginal Ancestry (AOAA) with no more than splash of Aboriginal blood in his European blood flow. We see these white Aboriginals at the forefront of agitation, sucking on the fat teat of government largess, and oppressing the general population.
Of course when you claim you are Aboriginal in Australia, you feel entitled to say or do whatever you want, and you do or say whatever you want. As for the rest of the (white) population, we can all go to buggery.
It makes no difference that 99% of the Australian population never connected Coon Cheese with anything pertaining to race. All you have to do as an ‘Aboriginal’ activist is concoct a story about racist discrimination and feed to a compliant leftist media, and you’re home and hosed. The elected authorities go down like a pack of cards.
What we are seeing in a Australia is the wholesale betrayal of our Australian way of life.
In Smithsonian Race Guidelines, Rational Thinking and Hard Work Are White Values
BY MARINA WATTS ON 7/17/20
The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture recently unveiled guidelines for talking about race. A graphic displayed in the guidelines, entitled “Aspects and Assumptions of Whiteness in the United States,” declares that rational thinking and hard work, among others, are white values.
In the section, Smithsonian declares that “objective, rational, linear thinking,” “quantitative emphasis,” “hard work before play,” and various other values are aspects and assumptions of whiteness.
The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture had no comment for Newsweek. They referred to the website’s page titled “Whiteness” when asked for additional comment. The graphic was later removed from the page.
A Brief History of Antifa: Part II
Antifa in the United States
by Soeren Kern
- “The only long-term solution to the fascist menace is to undermine its pillars of strength in society grounded not only in white supremacy but also in ableism, heteronormativity, patriarchy, nationalism, transphobia, class rule, and many others.” — Mark Bray, “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” 2017.
- “They’re coming from other cities. That cost money. They didn’t do this on their own. Somebody’s paying for this…. What Antifa is doing is they’re basically hijacking the black community as their army. They instigate, they antagonize, they get these young black men and women to go out there and do stupid things, and then they disappear off into the sunset.” — Bernard Kerik, former commissioner of the New York City Police Department.
- The coordinated violence raises questions about how Antifa is financed. The Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ) is an organizing group that serves as a fiscal sponsor to numerous radical left-wing initiatives, according to Influence Watch, a research group that collects data on advocacy organizations, foundations and donors…. The Open Society Foundations, Tides Foundation, Arca Foundation, Surdna Foundation, Public Welfare Foundation, and the Brightwater Fund have all made contributions to AFGJ, according to Influence Watch.
- One of the groups funded by AFGJ is called Refuse Fascism … an offshoot of the Radical Communist Party (RCP)…. The group’s slogan states: “This System Cannot Be Reformed, It Must Be Overthrown!”
Australia is constantly slandered as a (white) racist country. The hordes of POCs trying to get into Australia would seem to disprove that slander. Of course, that does not stop the slander. It does not stop the slander because the truth or falsehood of the claim (it is false) is not at issue. It is slander as a political tool. It will keep going because it is an effective tool in the worldwide Marxist campaign to destroy white influence and white civilization.
Those white countries that allow extensive POC immigration now find many of those who benefited out on the streets condemning their white hosts as racists and tearing down statues of figures once considered important in developing the standard of living that those POCs migrated to enjoy.
One wonders how long the tolerance of this insane situation will go on.
It is no surprise to hear that Gay Culture has the public service firmly in its grip. Gay culture activists are unrelenting. They play a total win-total lose game – loss for those who deviate from the credo. Mark Latham in a Sky News interview with Paul Murray said the New LGBTIQ network in the public service is a ‘complete and utter sham’,
It became clear to me years ago, that various political groups were successfully acting outside out democratic processes. Paul Collits in this Quadrant piece accurately describes the sorry situation of Australia’s democratic system.
We Already Know the Election Winner
Forgive me for not getting very excited by, or involved in, the current election campaign. Despite (or perhaps because of) saturation coverage of the rather mediocre national leaders who dominate proceedings and who are the most likely to influence the eventual outcome – Morrison, Shorten, Clive Palmer (incredibly) and the Nat guy whose name I may have once known but have since forgotten – the sense of occasion is almost entirely lacking. This is so even though we are constantly told this is an election of great consequence. A “fork in the road” election, no less.
On the right, the Liberals have done what they always do. They circle the wagons, attempt to bury momentarily the worst evidence of their deep and abiding disunity, claim credit for whatever positive economic news they can find, and allege that the other mob would be worse. They say that electing the Labor Party would be a disaster. That has been pretty much the Liberals’ electoral strategy over my lifetime and probably all the way back to the party’s birth in 1949. The Nats merely claim now that they “get stuff” out of Treasury for the bush. The quixotic and deeply unimpressive Palmer, seemingly now a potential kingmaker, stands for who-knows-what.
The rest of the fractured non-Coalition right merely fight over the Senate spoils. Of these parties, the Australian Conservatives represent perhaps most closely the values that once attracted conservatives to the old, “broad church” Liberal Party, but their electoral progress has barely registered on the radar and they lack cut-through leadership and a compelling, vote-gaining focus. One Nation perhaps will always be associated with its own highly visible leader, but its focus on immigration, though correct and important, is limiting and the politically incorrect edge previously owned by One Nation has gone. With Fraser Anning firing the most outrageous shots now, even Pauline is muted in impact.
