Teal politicians regularly preach integrity, but they don’t hold themselves to the standards they demand of others.

In an extraordinary moment on ABC’s Insiders this morning, Monique Ryan was asked her opinion on a simple question: should voters be told when someone publicly praising a politician is being paid by that politician?

She struggled to answer.

Pressed repeatedly by host David Speers, Monique Ryan failed to rule out the practice of secret ‘cash for comment’ — even saying she’d “have to give it some thought.”

This is shocking hypocrisy from someone who claims to stand for integrity.
